* all the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - She was already slacking in classes and the school year had begun only a few weeks ago. She sighed as she picked up her things after her class and headed towards the library; today was going to be an awful day, she could just tell. Actually, most the day was over, but she usually went out with people on Friday nights. However, not this Friday. Apparently, her parents had been checking in on her grades and saw that her history grade had dropped dramatically from the first week to where she was now. Once she got to the big, grand library, she found an empty table that was decent sized to spread her belongings across. She sighed as she flopped down in the hard wood chair and opened up her government book. She plopped up her elbow to the table and leaned her head against the palm of her hand. She began reading what seemed to be point zero font text and quickly became bored. She wasn't sure why history was so boring, maybe the teacher? Usually she enjoyed learning about past events and what had caused them, but government was just an evil side of the history course. She slammed her head against the book and looked back up.
She sat both her hands in her lap, impatiently waiting for some idea to pop in her head. She rolled her eyes and leaned her head back. Perhaps she would go find a book. No. She needed to stay and make this government reading more interesting some how. She got out her iPod and began listening to music to try and make this reading seem less boring. It wasn't exactly working because the ADD kicked in and she was just jamming out to the music. After about five minutes, the blond girl realized this and moaned. This reading was obviously not going to get done. There were just too many things on her mind at once. Ever since she and Sam Reins began to argue and fight, the friendship that she had with Kingston became...difficult to maintain. The two are still able to talk and whatnot without any problems, unless Sam sees them and rudely butts her cheerleader ass in the middle of the conversation. Lexi silently grumbled to herself. This whole thing started because Sam wanted to know if she thought cheerleading was a sport. Lexi has the tendency to be brutally honest, not thinking about the other person much, and said no. Of course, that went over so well with Sam and it was like an overnight thing, more like three seconds, that the two became mortal enemies. Boo hoo. Cheerleading is not a sport. If cheerleading is a sport, so is marching band. They do equal amount of work, maybe even more in band.
Lexi tried to get the though out of her head, getting very angry. She wished her grandfather was still alive in times like these. She craved his advice all the time since she moved to this town. She was usually good about hiding bad emotions like hate or saddness, but Samantha Reins just got under her skin since that day. It was a big scene in the hallway too. She shook her head and closed her eyes just thinking about it. It was a good thing that an administrator had been there to break the two girls apart. Lexi wasn't one for mercy, and most everyone knew it. She would've punched Sam square in the jaw if she had the chance to that day. She took a deep breath from all this deep thinking and looked back at her text book. She closed it and just got out the current book she was reading: Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. It was a great book so far, and she usually calmed down from reading. If the book thing didn't work, then she'd go smack a volleyball around later. & I WAKE UP EVERY EVENING WITH A BIG SMILE ON MY FACE ( and it never seems out of place )
"See you there!" Sam's loud bubbly voice definitely must have received some moans from the near by library. She had just got invited to some Senior party, which to be honest she didn't think she'd be invited to. One of the girls that was throwing the party had been on okay terms with some girl who didn't like her very much, but she guessed the girl squashed it.
As for the moment, she needed to check out a few books for the weekend so she was on her way to the library. Coming up with a eight page rough draft paper about how humans have positively affected the ocean was going to be a daunting task. She couldn't even think of one. The books were just for extra information, Google would be her best friend Sunday night. Brushing her blonde hair out of her face and tucking it behind her ear, she walked into the library.
Almost as soon as she made it through the door way she her...no it, sitting at a table. The horrible part about it was that she needed to use the bookshelf near there! Her tongue rolled around in her mouth before she continued walking. Dont feed the monkey, she thought to herself and of course a snicker displayed itself upon her face. Going around the bookshelves and towards the back of them she slowly approached the one she needed to be at. She saw Lexi nearly a few yards in front of her and rage shot through her body. If she wasn't on the varsity cheer leading team, she'd definitely have fought the girl by now. Alexis rubbed her all kinds of different wrong ways it was unimaginable. Then she found out later that week that she was Kingston's good friend! Samantha had almost blacked out from rage then. It had taken her nearly the whole day to calm down and of course King reassured her it was fine and all but it wasn't.
Inching her way along as she observed all the books on the shelf her body was telling her to turn around. She was most definitely not in the mood to argue, there was a beach party tonight she wanted to go to and checking out the books was suppose to be the easiest part of her night. How the hell could one dumb...girl bitch ruin her day instantly? She had been having a FANTASTIC day until now. She found out she had a C in English, it had been wear whatever Friday for the month, she was invited to a party and she made out with King behind the bleachers at lunch. Could it have gotten any better? Well she would never know now because she was at rock bottom.
She of course had told friends about the ordeal (the ones who didn't see it go down in the hallway) and they all told her to drop it. They had almost made her more mad than she had been at Lexi. Drop it? No when she was around Alexis or thought about Alexis everything she had worked for felt threatened. Sam was damn sure not losing a single thing, to Lexi.

* all the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - The book thing seemed to work well. It had taken her mind off of the whole drama deal along with other things. The book so far had been pretty interesting. Sci-fi was one of her favorite types of books to read, noting the other series she enjoyed. Her favorite was of course the popular book that had been ruined by the one movie they made, Eragon. The book was phenomenal, the movie not so much. Lexi noticed that she was getting angrier now a days, super easy. Just thinking of something would bring up some awful memory and get her all worked up. It was getting to be a hassle. Senior year should not be this stressful for her. She heard that the junior year was supposed to be most difficult and most stressful for the high school life; well, apparently not. She sighed as she read through her book, almost getting done because of her skills in fast reading. The ending was kind of bland, but there were more books after this one. Café at the Edge of the Universe was the next one, she was pretty sure at least.
The girl closed the hard-back book and got up, pretty much ready to leave the library. There was a senior party going down at the beach tonight and she needed to go to her dorm and start getting ready. She had taken a shower this morning, so at least that was taken care of. However, even though it was wear whatever you want Friday, she needed to change into something…better. She just had on a simple pair of skinny jeans and a t-shirt she’d ordered online for the moment. She would probably wear her cute black dress and leather jacket tonight. Yeah. She imagined the outfit in her head and agreed once again with herself that it would be perfect for the night. However, once she got up, she saw out of the corner of her eye, the blond menace. Samantha Reins. Gross. She walked up and down the book aisle that was near her table and rolled her eyes.
She gathered her things and saw Sam looking angry to. Lexi smirked; she saw her as well. Lexi didn’t know why that it was so fun to make other people miserable, but Sam was just, well, not her friend. She was got so mad when Lexi had not said cheerleading was a sport. That day just, well, hysterical was all she could say really. Lexi had made fun of the activity further and then Sam had gotten defense and dissed tennis. After that, she wanted to get matched up with her for a tennis game in gym and power shoot it into her face. That would leave a pretty little mark for prom. She laughed to herself a little bit quietly, and figured she might as well try and play nice. She didn’t want Kingston to start hating her because Sam and him were dating. Kingston and Lexi had been friends since the start of the high school lives of the two of them and she sure as hell wasn’t going to let some dumb junior girl get in the way of that.
She sighed, gathered herself, and took a deep breath. She didn’t want to “accidentally” go off on the blond girl. She just left her stuff on the table and slowly walked over to the girl, ”Okay. Look, you date my super close friend, and I’m close friends with your boyfriend. So, for the sake of him, I suppose we should act like we get along with one another around him.” She tried not to sound disgusted by even suggesting this with this dumb girl, but it was whatever. Kingston had nothing to do with their fighting, so why should he have to suffer? At least Lexi had a heart and cared about others. Hopefully Samantha would be on the same pace with her and agree with her on the matter. And if she didn’t, at least she tried to at least sort of get along with her. However, she knew how seriously this ditz took her cheerleading and probably wouldn’t end up forgiving her for Kingston’s sake at least.

& I WAKE UP EVERY EVENING WITH A BIG SMILE ON MY FACE ( and it never seems out of place )
Samantha was not too fond in the selection of books she had. This is the pain and suffering she deserved for being a science geek and actually caring about what grades she got. She wondered how hard it would be for her to just start slacking off. Sam couldn't fathom it'd be too extremely hard, the hardest part would be convincing her parents it was the teacher & work, not her. That would be a ton of convincing and string pulling too. Strings she didn't have a grip on. Wow, actually doing the essay seemed like a much better alternative at the moment. Fuck my life, she thought as she groaned as she picked up her last book making it three heavy books in total.
For a brief moment she felt a euphoric, conquering and triumphant feeling as Alexis stood up. Had she not seen her? Must not have because she was acting far too normal, though there was some edge about her that always threw Samantha off of her game. Not by much though. Sam always, brought her A-game. Next year would be bittersweet. She'd lose Kingston but gain freedom away from that horrid Senior...inserttwentydifferentprofanewordshere.
To be quite honest if it was up to her she would not want Kingston to be friends with Lexi. One, it was not her choice. Two, Sam valued King's happiness over her dislike for the girl so she wouldn't say anything to him about it. Unless of course she found out Lexi was one of those girls that did everything they could to break her and Kingston up. She had definitely had enough of finding out about lower class men saying nasty things about Sam. She had dealt with rumors before but ever since she began dating Kingston an outsider would think Sam was the dirtiest, sleaziest and head slut around these parts. All over a guy. Well Kingston, and he was far more than a just a guy, but the concept is still the same. People threw out all their morals and respect just to see someone else's demise. Though it was sickening, Sam never let ANY of them see her sweat.
Just as she was getting ready to leave and go thank god that she hadn't had to argue with Alexis today, the Senior started to walk over to her. With her heavy books, all too late knowledge of the action, and the fact that she was subconsciously interested in what was going to happen; Samantha didn't move a muscle. She raised an eyebrow before the girl spoke but as the words came out of her mouth the eyebrow fell and a confused look came across her face. It vanished as quick as it came and she looked down for a second in thought.
Nodding, Sammie responded. "I HATE, agreeing with you but your right. Kingston isn't in this and he doesn't have to be." She responded back though she was still a little unnerved about the neutrality of their conversation. "But let me tell you something, being completely honest just as you were with me, I don't like you..at all and I know you don't like me." She started, putting extreme emphasis on the 'at all'. It would take a hell of a lot for Sam to like Lexi again. Although Sam wouldn't tell her, she respected Alexis. The way she held herself and conducted herself was mature. She'd admit that to the girl though.
"I know your popular and most likely got invited to this party. We can act all peachy there but you know how I feel now." She added just so when the party came around they weren't at each others throats. "It's going to be quite hilarious when people actually think we aren't hating each other." She muttered yet it was most likely loud enough for Lexi to hear.

* all the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - The girl looked shocked, as she should, when Lexi went over to talk to Samantha about this whole trying to act like they at least sort of got along with one another, for the sake of Kingston of course. The girl said that she hated to agree with her, but Lexi was right in this situation. Kingston had no part in this and didn’t need to be brought into it. ”I’m glad to know that we are at least on the same page about this,” she mentioned, with less disgust in her voice this time around. She then started rambling on about how she didn’t like her at all and how she knew that she didn’t like her. Oh high school. How she would not miss you. ”Well, thank you for the obvious Sherlock,” she said, being the smart ass she was. Apparently juniors weren’t as smart as they used to be, well, at least when she was a junior and everything. Samantha pointed out how she didn’t like her and the same went for the opposite opposition. She didn’t need to spell it out for her.
She then mentioned the party tonight and how they can act all friendly and nice there. Lexi nodded, ”Deal. Whenever there’s a public event, we can act all buddy, buddy towards one another or whatever we need to do. The blond one also mentioned that it would be funny to see how people react to them not hating one another’s guts. She nodded and actually smirked at the joke, ”True that.” She looked at the time. She still had about an hour to waste before she would need to start getting ready for this party tonight. What else could she do? She looked back at Sam. Maybe setting some rules up would be a good idea? ”So, what are the rules for this “agreement”? The basis of this is school events, we act like we don’t absolutely hate one another. But, is there anything else that we should mention?”
Lexi was trying to think of anything loopholes in this agreement. She knew that if they saw each other outside of school, like at the mall, they would probably just give each other dirty looks like normal. She looked at her phone and saw a text from one of her close friends talking about the party. She wanted her to bring her some smokes. She rolled her eyes and responded back with an okay, but she would have to pay her back. She put her phone back in her pocket and kind of regretted smoking. All her friends would always bum off her cigarettes and it started to get highly annoying really freakin’ fast. Cigarettes aren’t cheap and her friends didn’t know how the economy works nowadays.

& I WAKE UP EVERY EVENING WITH A BIG SMILE ON MY FACE ( and it never seems out of place )
Samantha only nodded at Alexis, she was glad too that they could come to an agreement. It was quite weird how she was having a civil conversation with a person she wanted to hit a few minutes ago. Kingston had that kind of power over people even when he wasn't around. The smart ass comment she received only got Lexi a dramatic eye roll and a somewhat disgusted look. If there was something that she'd admit about Lexi it'd be that her smart comments were ten times better than Sam's. That's all she would admit though.
"Sounds good to me." She replied with an inward sigh. She really began to wonder how the party would go with the whole 'nice' thing, she knew people would be dying to see how the two would act around each other. To be quite honest, she did to! Samantha actually began to question herself. She was King's girlfriend she should have been the one initiating the peace treaty. She should have been the one to want to come to a compromise at first. She's the one who should not have been so selfish.
"Okay rules, well we're going to have to act behaved at school too. We're quite known around here and so is King. People would die to have a shot at creating unneeded drama. They see us feuding, they tell him." Sam decided that King probably would have already heard about the first incident but he sure did not need to hear about anymore. "So we can be at each other's throat as long as little to no one is around." She added with one of the falsest smiles ever faked. "Oh yeah and we actually have to put some effort into it. If we don't believe it, or look like we do, people sure won't believe it. Gossipers are intelligent creatures." Sammie had first had experience with those little boogers. They never ceased at trying to make her life hell on Earth. It was at its worse at the moment, but she pretended like she could care less.
Lately she began to feel like it was her against Kingswood.
Watching Alexis text it reminded her to make sure to talk to King, he was most likely going to the party tonight and she wanted to meet up with him to go. She knew tons of Seniors and what not but why wouldn't the star couple walk together like it was the red carpet?

* all the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - At her sly smart ass comment, she got an eye roll and a disgusted look. Man, she was proud of herself today. That whole eye roll thing, yeah. Lexi did that when she was like, ten to her parents. Good job growing up. Of course, since they were trying to act out a mutual agreement, she wouldn't be that mean. Well, at least for today. She did try and want to become somewhat okay with this girl is she was going to date her best friend basically. The girl said that it sounded good to her about what Lexi had mentioned about acting buddy, buddy towards one another at a school even, replying with the largest sigh in the world. Lexi tried not to roll her eyes at the girl, since she'd just basically smashed her for it in her mind. So overdramatic, but what do you expect from the head cheerleader though? Nothing less than your dramatic best.
Sam started talking about ground rules, and of course Lexi actually listened to her about these. She mentioned having to act somewhat civil at school as well since they were both well known around these parts. And teenagers will be teenagers and do anything to start a wildfire of drama. "Right. That will get spread around like wildfire for sure." Oh high school, how she could not wait to get the fuck out of here. She was tired of all these talks of drama and rumors. It was just very petty and annoying. For all any of these kids knew, they'd be working with one another some day. She really wanted to tell Sam that being "head cheerleader" would probably get her no where in life, but once again, at school, people around. She mentioned being at one another's throats as long as no one was around them. Lexi for sure nodded at that one. It would be tough though. This town wasn't exactly a large one.
She also mentioned the part that Lexi knew in the back of her mind, but didn't want to say out loud. They were actually going to have to act like they liked one another. Not that fake crap that everyone could tell was phony. She then mentioned gossipers being intelligent. "If they were intelligent, they'd butt out of other people's business." Lexi knew how to fight. She wasn't the type of girl to back down from a fight. And if anything ever got back to Kingston about her and Sam arguing about anything, she would find the person who started it up. If they had a fight club, she'd join. She was the "bad ass" girl of the school afterall.
After she had texted her friend back about the smokes, she couldn't help but think what she would be like if she hadn't started acting out like the way she did. Maybe in a different universe, Sam and her could've ended up being sort of close. They were actually alike in many ways, but they would never admit it to one another. Lexi started this whole act when she first came to this dumb school. She didn't want to be seen as a small, feeble girl that could be pushed around. She started smoking her sophomore year, making her part of the "in crowd" with the seniors and juniors that smoked. She started attending high ranking parties about half way through her sophomore year, and then she was screwed from that point on. She assumed that she'd still be a kick ass volleyball and tennis player, but maybe actually get super good grades and be in the top ten of her class. Too late to find out now she guessed.

& I WAKE UP EVERY EVENING WITH A BIG SMILE ON MY FACE ( and it never seems out of place )
Sam nodded at Lexi's statement and agreed with it. Kingswood was definitely big, but no high school is truly ever big enough to block the drama out. People around the school would take one thing, change it to something totally different and run with it. "You and Kingston are lucky. You two are gone next year." She looked away for a moment maybe even giving Lexi the impression that Sam was sad. "I have to stay another year here, maybe when Kingston leaves it will die down." She honestly didn't want her boyfriend to go but next year would be a relief. Hell, she'd go out on a limb and say that if they separated it'd die down but she was thinking too fast - they'd come up with a dozen rumors on how the break up happened, where it happened, etc. "You'll have to tell me how life is away from here." She added. Maybe...just maybe her and Alexis would be on true talking terms by the end of the year. Sam wasn't too fond of her but she did respect her, and respect was something Sam rarely gave around Kingswood.
Samantha's unusual genuine laugh filled the bookshelves, only for her to stop abruptly so she wouldn't disrupt the calm flow of the area around them. "It's because they have no business of their own." Just as Samantha said what she did she couldn't help but feel like spilling everything she had been holding in since school began. The drama people associated with, her insecurities, her mixed feelings about Kingston, and just life in general. As quick as the feeling came she shoved it away with disgust. The fact that Sam didn't have many true friends definitely made this hard. Any humane person wants to be able to share the company of another. But Sam kept telling herself she didn't want to share it with Lexi.
Okay she'd share just a little, just to see how it goes. "You know, this is one of the longest civil conversations I've had with a girl this year." She shook her head, trying not to be too bothered about the fact she didn't get along with most of the girls here. Well she wanted too but most of them regarded Sam as a bitch because she was head cheerleader so they avoided her. "I'm glad you at least have the balls & brain to talk to me." She laughed. Her books proved too becoming heavy so she hesitated for a second before she began to move to the side and walk past Lexi. "Walk and talk?" She asked, unless of course the Senior girl wanted to sit down then they could. She figured both of them wanted a good amount of time to get ready for tonight so she wasn't trying to wait around too long.

* all the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - The girl nodded at her wildfire comment. She then mentioned her and Kingston being lucky about being gone next year. Lexi nodded. She mentioned having to stay here for another year, but maybe drama dying down after Kingston left. Lexi had to agree with her on that, "Well, yeah. I guess you're right with that statement. But we all gotta go through our four years of hell though." Was she trying to, comfort this girl? After rerunning her last statement in her head. That's for sure what it sounded like. The hell? Why was she trying to comfort this girl? Didn't they want to like, tear one another's heads off or something? Sam seemed sad mentioning Kingston's leaving. She couldn't help but kind of feel bad for her. She said that Lexi would have to tell her how life was away from the school. "No problem. And I wouldn't worry about Kingston too much. If I know him as well as I do, he's going to miss you just as much." Gross. She was actually trying to comfort the girl, telling her things were going to be alright.
Sam seemed to actually laugh at her joke. Samantha said it was because they had no business of their own. "Fair enough. I'm glad that we have lives of our own though." At least these two didn't spread crap around the school. If these two put their brains together, the school would be in flames. "This school would be down in ashes if we were to spread drama around the school." She imagined since the junior was head cheerleader and was dating Kingston, she would know some real dirt around the school. Lexi didn't exactly like talking with people about drama, but words seemed to just come out around this girl, unfortunately speaking of course. They were supposed to be "enemies" after all. However, it seemed easy to talk to Sam. She wasn't sure if it was the atmosphere or if they were both really close to Kingston.
Then the girl mentioned that this was the longest civil conversations she's had with a girl this year. Lexi kind of cocked her head to the side. That was a surprise. She wasn't expecting this girl to share that sort of information with her though. "Really? I would have expected head cheerleader to have lots of friends to go shopping and crap with." Lexi always had this mental picture of the head cheerleader in her mind; perfect everything, lots of friends, and the perfect boyfriend. Apparently only two of the three. "Honestly, me too." Lexi had a knack for not getting along with girls unless they were on the volleyball team because it was a team sport after all. She was normally friends with all the guys around the school because she wasn't into the clothes or makeup side of things.
Sam mentioned that she was glad that Lexi had the balls and brain to talk to her. Okay, that was funny. She kind of chuckled quietly to herself, not wanting to disturb people around them. Sam walked passed her and asked if she wanted to walk and talk. Lexi actually kind of wanted to. She figured that if these two were gonna act like they got along for the sake of things, they should probably start now she supposed. "Sure." Lexi went to the table and picked up her belongings and walked up to Sam. She wasn't sure what they could talk about; this all was new to her, and apparently new to Samantha as well.

Samantha looked at Lexi and just gave a subtle nod. She was right. She didn't really know how to respond to the kindness. Well she knew but she didn't really know if she wanted to are not. She had to keep remembering this was just practice and pretend so she couldn't say too much. She just needed to be somewhat comfortable around Lexi - but oddly she was extremely comfortable once they had got to talking. It was a little scary actually. So a head nod to show that she appreciated the comforting would have to do because the kind words between them brought on a feeling of awkwardness and confusion for Sam. Hating this girl seemed so much harder now, but she told herself repeatedly that this was fakeness at its finest.
"I know right, we'd have people begging us to stop. I wonder why people can't remember treat others the way you want to be treated." She told Lexi with another disgusted shake of her head. This time the disgust wasn't even directed towards Lexi, but towards the gossiping population of Kingswood Prep. To be quite honest she hadn't heard too much about Lexi. Of course she heard about the bad ass things she did and what not but nothing ever too serious. If she did, now she'd be obligated to tell her. The obligation would come from either Sam actually feeling somewhat comfortable around Lexi now or the fact that the person would probably get their ass handed to them by Lexi to Sam's entertainment. With those type of thoughts a rather random question dawned on Sam. "Have you ever fought someone?" She asked with a curious yet slightly mocking expression. I mean she regarded Alexis as one of the more aggressive females at the school so she was genuinely curious if she ever beat up a person.
Shaking her head at the usual assumption people made about the head cheerleader she sort of laughed. "Sure, tons of people would want to go shopping with me. They are the same ones who'd talk about me the next day. Ninety-five percent of my friends are fake." She admitted, that probably being the farthest she'd elaborate on that particular subject. "Not to be offensive, but I can tell. You dont seem like the type to mesh with other girls too well. Hence how we became enemies." She remembered that day and laughed inside of her head. "Do you know how many people wanted you to beat my ass that day?" Okay she did NOT just say that. Though Lexi could probably tell she was joking, she double backed on what she said. "Not very many." She grinned as she continued to walk the weird awkwardness befalling the atmosphere again. How the hell could she be smiling and laughing around Alexis?
Something was definitely in the water at Kingswood.

* all the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Like Lexi had thought, this whole kindness deal that was going on at the current moment, neither of them were sure what to say. At the beginning of the school year, they had basically wanted to tear each other's heads off, but now she was acting as a helpful figure to her? God. She just wanted to come to terms with the girl and make sure they could act civil towards one another, not become friends. She just nodded her head in appriciation to the comfort she had used to try and say that her and Kingston would be okay when he left next year. This was awkward talking with Samantha without wanting to actually rip her head off. It must have been awkward for her as well. Lexi had tried to figure that this was all just fake and they were just trying to save Kingston, and themselves, from a lot of drama.
She mentioned that people would beg them to stop and remember to treat others the way you want to be treated. Lexi nodded in agreement. "Seriously. If there is even one gossip-trail that involves us, I will hunt the person down." She wasn't joking either, which is the scary part of the whole thing. Sam then asked if Lexi had ever fought anyone before. She grinned, "That's an interesting question to ask, but yeah. Before coming here I was in London and usually got into trouble at school. I beat up a kid for making fun of me. I don't even remember what it was about. All I remember is him crying and running for a teacher." That day. That awful day in eighth grade that she had to put her parents through. His name was Devon Martin. He was the big boy, not as in fat but popular, at the middle school and thought he could do whatever he wanted to. She was pretty sure that he made fun of her for being sad all the time after her grandfather died, probably not realizing that her grandfather had died.
Sam shook her head about the whole head cheerleader business. She said that people would want to go shopping with her, but they would be the ones that would talk about her behind her back. Ninety-five percent of her friends were fake. She then mentioned that she wasn't meaning to be offensive but she could tell that she didn't mesh well with other girls, so becoming enemies. "Bingo. I don't exactly know why though." She shrugged. Best girl friends could turn their back on you the next day, and it didn't sit well with her knowing that. Her thoughts cleared when she mentioned the day and asked if she knew how many people wanted her to beat her ass that day. Lexi raised an eyebrow when she said not very many. She chuckled, "Fair enough." Lexi didn't blame her though. Obviously Sam was the favorite between the two of them in a popularity contest, she wasn't going to lie about it. Even if that was the case, Sam was still a twig and Lexi could snap her in half.

& I WAKE UP EVERY EVENING WITH A BIG SMILE ON MY FACE ( and it never seems out of place )
Samantha chuckled when Lexi said she'd hunt them down. She was now somewhat more scared to be on this girls bad-side. Well wasn't she one her bad side? Last time she checked they hated each other. Damn what the hell had she gotten herself into? She probably would have gotten beat up the intense day. She now thought it was best just to remain neutral with Lexi but she couldn't say that out loud. Wouldn't that make her look weak? She already had enough people out to get here because they thought she couldn't handle herself, she didn't need an enemy of the past ready to beat her ass again.
So she had gotten into a fight before. Samantha definitely could not one up that. She had never got into an actual fistfight. Besides kindergarten, but what person doesn't get into a fight in kindergarten? The reason why she had never got attacked was because; like she said earlier; not many of the people who hated her had the balls to approach her. Period. Most guys liked her so that wasn't the problem, but girls hated her, because they feared her. Intimidation was key. Yeah sure Sam wasn't the toughest chick around but she could ruin some people socially & who wanted to have no friends throughout high school? The only people that could really stand a chance against her were other girls that were actually confident enough to confront Sam. Then she could finally explain to them that she wasn't some snobby stuck up person. Well at least not ALL the time. She didn't worry about that much though because she had yet to be confronted, other than Lexi of course.
Coming to the end of the corridor which then split into different hallways that you could go to exit the school to the dorms, wander the school, exit towards the direction of the town. She stopped and looked at Lexi with something that could be passed off as a smile. "Poor kid, that's what he gets though." She said with a small laugh. It was awkward. She ran her fingers through her blonde hair and then looked towards the exit toward the dorms. "Guess I'll see you tonight. Enemy." She grinned slyly before she turned on her heels and started down the next hallway.
