Dress Code
We ask that students kindly follow these requirements.

- Students may not "sag," or wear their pants below the waistline.
- Shirts are to be tucked in at all times while in uniform.
At Kingswood, our uniform is simple, and consists of a few colors. Many items are purchasable through our bookkeeper and student store.

Our PE dress code consists of a gray t-shirt, black shorts or sweatpants, and athletic, closed toe shoes. Your teacher has the right to deem your outfit inappropriate if your choices do not allow you to participate fully.
The Beach
We have a beautiful beach across from our campus. We allow students to eat lunch here, as long as they are deemed responsible. We do not want students drowning, or getting injured. We expect them to respect the beach. If you have received too many infractions, tardies, detentions, or suspensions this privilege will be revoked. Students that require financial aid may apply to be a life guard to cover some costs. Bonfires are allowed, but you/your group must approve it through the school to have a monitor in case things get out of hand. There is always a Saturday night bonfire at 8pm as a school get-together.
Tardy Policy
Classes will begin promptly at 9:00 am. We ask that you arrive on campus by 8:30 so you don't miss any important morning announcements. If you arrive to class later than 9:00 am you must go to the office and get a pass or you will not be allowed into class. Only legitimate reasons for tardiness will be excused. Unexcused tardies will not be tolerated. You are permitted three tardies per course each semester.
- 1 Tardy = Excused
- 2 Tardies = Warning Letter
- 3 Tardies = One Hour of After School Detention
- 4 Tardies = Two Hours of After School Detention
- 5 Tardies+ = Referral to School Board for possible suspension or expulsion
Electronic Devices
The administration recognizes that students have cell phones, MP3 players, etc. in their possession and therefore will not take them away without reason. All electronic devices are to be turned off during school hours unless the teacher specifies otherwise. If a cell phone or any other electronic device goes off during class, the student will recieve a warning. The next time this happens, it will be taken away and won't be returned until the end of the school day. If it continues to happen, it will be taken away and will not be returned without parental consent.
Cheating Policy
Kingswood Prep does not and will not tolerate cheaters. There are severe consequences if a cheater is caught. Remember, cheating can be giving or receiving answers. If you allow someone to cheat off of you, you are just as guilty as the one who took the answers. The first time cheaters are caught, they will receive a week of after-school detention and will not be allowed to attend or participate in any after-school activities for the next thirty days. If you are caught more than once, you will be suspended from Kingswood Prep.
