PERSONALITY
As a person, Avery is genuine. Everything he says or does comes from the heart and he is the type of person to always worry if he feels if one of his friends is in danger. No he doesn't pace back and forth mumbling to himself, but he will try and advise any of his friends to make the decision he deems right. He he is outgoing and not the shyest person therefore he isn't scared to lead a group of people or tell others how he feels. He is protective and sometimes it can be annoying when his friends want/are doing something that they think is fun but he doesn't. Little does anyone really know he is somewhat self-conscious but rarely shows it to anyone but Kyle. Despite his own self-consciousness he always tries to bring out the confidence in his peers and will forever look out for anyone he cares about in the slightest bit.
HISTORY
Avery's parents live a few states away from the boarding school to his luck. Of course he misses them, what person wouldn't miss the people that raised them? What he his happy about is the fact he can start 'living' and making his own decisions. While living at home his parents were constantly on him about EVERYTHING. He never had a chance to breathe and really make true friends because he could never hang out or anything, which is why sometimes now he feels responsible for his friends' actions. His parents knew very well about his passion for singing and the arts but wanted him to remain focused on his academic studies. As much as he liked reading and writing, he felt that they were trying to determine his future. Slowly he began to rebel which only caused him more pain because then they became more strict and cracked down on him like never before. He is an only child so they never had to split their attention from him, it was like whatever he did his parents had something to say about it. Avery remembered a time when they gave him a lesson on how to 'properly' use a TV. What a headache right? So with a little persuading he convinced his parents Kingswood Preparatory would definitely tighten him up in his academics, his parents of course bought it and now are paying for him to go to this school. His singing got him a partial scholarship which helped pay for his sophomore year, while his parents still had to pay his freshman year.
